As our team leader, Amy possesses a range of talents and skills that make her a vital asset to our group of dental professionals. Along with managing all aspects of the dental office, she is also cross-trained to help wherever needed. A veteran of 24 years in dentistry, Amy has been with us since 2018.
When she was young, she had a great relationship with her general dentist, which helped propel her into dentistry. What she likes about South County Dental Group is that we work together like a family, and she welcomes how Dr. Adel makes the practice more well-rounded and effective.
The best thing about serving patients for Amy is helping brighten their smiles and helping them feel more self-confident. In her free time, Amy loves being on the water, paddleboarding, and hiking with friends.
Therese is a dedicated team member and a veteran dental hygienist of 26 years, 22 of those being with South County Dental Group. She attended UMKC School of Dentistry and earned a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. As a child, Therese received a lot of dental treatments and grew up getting to know numerous dentists, orthodontists, and oral surgeons. This personal experience informs her treatment of patients, her empathy, and her understanding.
As a registered hygienist, Therese performs dental checkups, periodontal screenings, and dental cleanings, but she especially loves educating patients. She finds it rewarding when patients improve their oral health by implementing the ideas and treatments offered by our office, especially if their oral health concerns impact their general health and self-esteem.
When not caring for patients, Therese enjoys reading, gardening, yoga, travel, and home decor. She also leads several bible study groups.
Adam, a highly dedicated hygienist with 17 years of experience, graduated from Forest Park College's Dental Hygiene program. Born and raised in Belleville, Illinois, he now resides in the South county area. His wife works as a dental assistant and two other family members are hygienists. Adam spends his weekends coaching his 12 year old daughters soccer team. In his free time, Adam loves visiting the farm where his daughter rides horses, playing in an adult soccer league, being in nature, and pursuing his interests in health and fitness. However, nothing beats spending time at the beach. Adam is known for his dad jokes, which he uses to put nervous patients at ease and make them feel comfortable about returning to the dentist. His top priority is to alleviate any worries or negative experiences patients may have had in the past.
Brooke Wuest, a native of O Fallon, Mo, carries her alma mater, Mizzou, close to her heart. She was on the dance team (The Golden Girls) all 4 years and then graduated with a Heath Science degree in 2016. Brooke's passion for healthcare began at a young age and only grew stronger as she progressed in her studies. Her senior year internship at a local dental office ignited her interest in dentistry. Since then, she moved to Springfield, MO, and earned her associates degree in dental hygiene. We are so excited that Brooke decided to move back home to be closer to family because we love having her on our team.

Born in Los Angeles, CA, but spent most of her life growing up in El Paso, Texas and Juarez, Mexico. In her early twenties she moved to Las Vegas where she began her career as a dental assistant and became a Regional Lead. 6 years later she met her husband, who was stationed at Nellis AB Nevada. Over the next fifteen years they moved all over the country and world, and became a mother of boy/girl twins. During her husband's career, it wasn't easy to go back to dental full time, and she even changed her career and became a hairstylist part time. They recently moved to St Louis after her husband retired to be close to family. After doing hair for a brief time here, she realized that she missed assisting and decided to come back as part of her new chapter in Missouri.
She loves traveling with her little family and eating delicious food while on the way.
